Meindl Dovre Extreme 'Wide' MFS GORE-TEX Hunting Boots with Leather Uppers
The Meindl Douvre Extreme is a benchmark high leg boot for field sports and recognised throughout the market.
The high quality leather upper provides protection and durability for all types of terrain which is enhanced by a full rubber rand which protects the upper against heather and stones. The Goretex lining means it is waterproof and the Vibram sole provides stability and grip.
Meindl Vakuum technology provides memory foam throughout the upper of the boot and the footbed, this foam uses the heat from your foot to mould the boot to your foot and therefore provide a customised fit. This provides a snugger fit and the ultimate in terms of comfort.
Technical features of the boot include a double density sole unit for good shock absorbency; Digafix lacing system to ensure a secure fit; Softer compression zone at the back of the boot to reduce the pressure on the Achilles when walking downhill.
The Air Active footbed wicks away moisture generated by the foot ; the sole unit is self cleaning, shedding mud as you walk.
Cleaning Recommendations:
The boots should be cleaned of any mud or dirt prior to waxing. Apply Meindl Sportwax to the upper to keep the leather soft and supple, it is recommended that you clean your boots each time you have used them.
The Goretex lining should be washed every 6 to 12 months dependent on useage. Fill the boot with a water and mild detergent solution and then swill it around prior to rinsing with water. This will clean the Goretex lining and improve its effectiveness
All Meindl boots can be resoled at the Meindl factory in Germany as long as the upper is in good condition.
Meindl footwear stands for quality and tradition along with state of the art technical features and innovations. All Meindl boots are made in Europe.
