Vihtavuori 24N41 is a single-based treated rifle powder very similar to the 20N29. It has a very large grain size (length 2,3 mm by diameter 1,3 mm) and an extremely slow burning rate ideally suited to the .50 BMG. It can also be used for some large capacity cases, such as the .300 Lapua Magnum, .300 Rem. Ultra Mag, and the .338 Lapua Magnum.
