Sierra MatchKing Bullets 243 Calibre/6MM (0.243" diameter) 70 Grain Hollow Point Boat Tail 500/Box
Designed specifically for record-breaking accuracy, the Sierra 70 grain MatchKing quickly established itself as the bullet to beat in centerfire competitions out to 400 yards. With Sierra’s traditional precision design, the #1505 HPBT gained wide and immediate acceptance.
In handguns chambering 6mm cartridges, the Sierra 70 grain #1505 MatchKing bullet, which was designed as a bench rest bullet, is suitable for targets out to medium range. This bullet has the famous MatchKing qualities of precise concentricity and uniformity, and it delivers incredible accuracy.
While they are recognised around the world for record-setting accuracy, Sierra MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications. Although MatchKing and Tipped MatchKing bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.
